Provisional results are now live for this years Dambuster Duathlon, incorporating the BTF National Duathlon Championships 2012 and the ITU World Duathlon Championships qualification.

Dambuster Duathlon 2012

Our events office is now closed while we prepare the site for the Dambuster Duathlon on the 10th March at Rutland Water. The office will re-open on the 14th.

We are pleased to announce that all 800 places for the Dambuster Duathlon and 1000 places available for the Dambuster Triathlon 2012 have now been taken.

We are sorry if you were unable to secure a place prior to the events filling. For more information about reserve & waiting lists please keep reading.

Dambuster Duathlon Reserve / Waiting List

There is no reserve/waiting list for the duathlon.

Dambuster Triathlon Reserve / Waiting List

We do not have a reserve list for the event, since in our experience drop outs in the Dambuster Triathlon are very low and it is rare that we are advised of these until much closer to the event by which time over 80% of the applicants on the reserve lists that we have produced in the past have made other arrangements and select not to take up places when offered to them.

If we have withdrawals what will happen?

Should we find that there are a number of drop outs prior to the closing date for the Dambuster Triathlon we will make an announcement in our Paceletter Newsletter and on Twitter and Facebook and would advise all athletes wishing to keep informed of this ensure they are registered on the website and follow us on Twitter.

These slots should they materialise will be issued on a strictly first come first served basis following the announcement.

If you were successful in getting a place in either event we look forward to seeing you at the race and wish you good luck with your preparation.

European Duathlon Qualifier Status Update

Please note the ETU have recently contacted the BTF to confirm that unfortunately the European Duathlon Championships will not be taking place in 2012.

As a result all events which were originally selected as qualifiers for the ETU Duathlon Championships status will no longer have qualifier status and the Dambuster Duathlon is no longer a qualifier event for the ETU Duathlon European Championships 2012.

Please note that under the terms of entry neither the organisers or British Triathlon are liable or responsible for the refunding entry fees.

European Duathlon Qualifier

The Dambuster Duathlon has been selected as a qualification event for the ETU Duathlon European Championships in 2012.

However, these championships have not yet been confirmed as taking place in 2012. In the event of the championships not taking place this event will no longer have qualifier status.

Please be aware that if you are entering this event because of its qualifier status, the organisers and British Triathlon will not refund entry fees should the qualifier status be removed.

Vitruvian 2012 Full

Vitruvian ENTRIES NOW CLOSED
Entries closed for the Vitruvian 2012 today at 8.06 am with the final slot being grabbed in a record breaking time of under 23 hours from when the entries first went live.

We would like to thank everyone who has entered for their support and look forward to a very special 10th anniversary for the Vitruvian.

We are sure that the Vitruvian 2012 will be a race to remember and look forward to seeing you on the start line on September 8th.

CHARITY SLOTS STILL AVAILABLE
All the 1000 places for the Vitruvian have now been taken up with the exception of a few charity places in support of ActionAid, so if you missed out on a place then this remains an option for you to enter.

If you still want a place and can raise £200 for ActionAid then please e-mail us — vitruvian@pacesetterevents.com — and we will get you signed up but please note that places are limited and are issued on a first come first served basis.

Please note that all these places are pre allocated to the ActionAid Charity and we are afraid cannot be used for other charities.

WAITING / RESERVE LIST FOR THE VITRUVIAN
Please also note we do not run a waiting list for this event.

In the case of withdrawals which may come about at a later stage, those places that become available will be announced via Facebook and Twitter when they go live so please ensure that you are registered if you wish to be kept updated.

However please be aware that the number of withdrawals from the Vitruvian are usually very low and do not normally come about until much closer to the event date itself.

The Vitruvian 2012 has already taken over 730 entries of the 1000 available (as of 17:10 today). That means there are less than 270 entries remaining!

It’s likely to be full tonight or at the very latest in the morning so if you want to make sure you get a place – please don’t delay.

We are pleased to announce that entries are now live for the Vitruvian Triathlon 2012 on PaceSetterEvents.com.

With all 1000 places taken in less than 33 hours for the race in 2011 you will need to be quick to secure a place so don’t delay.

2012 Website Now Live

Pace Setter Events are pleased to confirm we have now updated the website for the forthcoming 2012 season and are accepting online and postal entries for the Dambuster Duathlon and the Dambuster Triathlon.

Entries for the Vitruvian Triathlon are currently restricted to Credit Note Postal applications from athletes who have current valid credit notes from 2011 and ActionAid Charity Entries which will be made available to the first 25 applicants (for details of charity entries please see info below).

Normal online and postal entries for the Vitruvian will be opening in the next couple of weeks and will be advertised in the next Paceletter and on Twitter.

Final and confirmed results are now available for this years Vitruvian Triathlon.

We would like to thank all the competitors, marshals, volunteers and staff who made the event a great success.
