Can I add to the above…. Fantastic organisation…. everything seemed to go brilliantly, and incredibly smoothly…

And the marshalls and staff were just magnificent…. tons of really really great (and much needed!) support…

    Thanks!

This was my first race at middle distance and I loved it! Thank you so much for a brilliant, faultless day. A special thank you to the canoeists who made it a safe swim and created a visible channel for us to swim through because you couldn’t see the buoys and I relied heavily on them to show me the direction I needed to go in. As ever the marshalls support and crew were awesome and a big pat on the back to Mark and Sibs the race organisers who made the whole thing possible. This is yet by far the best race I have ever done. Thank you.

yep, thanks for another great event! I managed a PB in swim and bike. The support on the course was brilliant and final mass start in the fog was something else!!

THANK YOU Pacesetter Events – my first triathlon in 11 years and had read how good it was and it lived up to its reputation. The whole operation was smooth – emails leading up to the event, race day registration (very friendly bunch too), the marshalls and volunteers…everything. Weather pretty much perfect aside from the fog but that wasn’t as bad as it might have been considering the conditions.

Totally brilliant event and I just can’t wait to repeat it next year . Well done everyone – I am a Vitruvian and darn proud of it too :) (I’ll never forget hearing that running by the lake!!

Well done to all of the organisers – Mark & Sibs you have a great team.
Brilliant event – my first middle distance and now a proud Vitruvian!! The mass start for red & white was interesting – was I the only one to get dunked at the first turn..? Don’t think so! – and a huge thanks to the kayak guys for their guidance.
Big thanks to all of the marshals – it’s a long day (weekend) and their support was fantastic!

  9. Dave P says:

Great event, brilliantly managed and marshalled. All the comments you read about the vitruvian are true it is awesome and should be on every triathletes To-do list. Massive thanks to all the marshalls and those manning the feed stations, without you I would never have finished the run. Amazing setting and the fog just made it seem even more special as you set off on the swim not really knowing where it would lead you, much the same as the race for me as a 1st timer over this distance.
A special day I will always remember
    Dave

  10. Peter says:

Amazing –thank you so much. If anyone wants a near-perfect middle-distance race, this has to be it. The organisation is briliant and with race-day registration, spectator-friendly course and beautiful surroundings, everyone should become a Vitruvian!

  11. Andrew Cox says:

Can only endorse all the praise sing lavished on you! Great setting, fast bike (if you could see where you were going…….) and lots of helpful, experienced marshalls.
