AboutBurghley

It is a tremendous privilege to host this event at such an incredible venue.

The history and the beauty is breathtaking.

The concept of this event is to showcase all that this area has to offer.  We are taking runners on a journey through local history and giving you a special tour of the estate, town and countryside in a really interesting and varied course.

We are joining the Burghley estate and the historic old town of Stamford for the first run of its kind.

We must give special thanks to SKDC, Peterborough district council, Pilsgate Village, Stamford Town council and Burghley estate for believing in the project and working on the delivery. Without these organisations and local people we wouldn't have the opportunity to run and share such an incredible place in such a special way.
