How Do we Collect your data?

Your data is collected when you enter an event. It is an essential part of the event experience. 

We also offer people the opportunity to subscribe to our newsletters. 

How do we use your data?

We use your data in the administration process of your event entry.

We use your data to keep you safe during an event. This is important for safety crews being able to identify and treat you in an emergency. 
We take the minimum amount of data required. Name, Date of Birth, Email address are all compulsory fields for both identification and communication purposes.
We also take data such as running clubs, home towns, personal best times, garment sizes. These are all optional fields in the entry process.

This data is never shared with third party organisations or individuals.

Certain personal details will be published on our website for the purpose of recording your finish position. We publish the name age and any other relevant info including Run club or home town and age category, If you submitted this information at the point of entry.

Your payment is processed via WorldPay. We never handle this information, let alone store it. 

What happens after the event?

We keep the minimum amount of data required to keep in contact with you. 

Any non relevant information is deleted after the event has finished. 
We keep the email address registered against the entry and a name for the participant. 


After entering an event we securely store your name and email address on a database so we can contact you about events that we organise. We do not advertise events we are not involved with or products and services that are not linked to your entry. 

Your information is collected by JC Race solutions or Active. They collect the data on our behalf using their online registration systems and share only the information we require, when we request it.  


After taking part in an event organised by Rutland Marathon ltd only your email address and name is saved. We will then use that to let you know when future events are opening. We do not store any of your other personal details, payment information or any other data associated with your entry. We never have, we never intend to. 


You can of course unsubscribe from our email list at any time. There is a link on every email to ensure it is easy for you to opt out of hearing from us. 

Our company is hosted on the platform. provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through’s data storage, databases and the general applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.
